Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Joovik handles your Personal Data. We have tried to write it plainly. It should be read with our Common Definitions, Terms of Use, Cookie Policy, Consent Policy and Health Data Processing Notice.
1. Our role as a Data Fiduciary
For the Personal Data you provide to book and manage your care on the Platform, Joovik acts as a “Data Fiduciary” under the DPDP Act - meaning we decide the purpose and means of processing that data. Independent Healthcare Providers and Pharmacy Partners are separate Data Fiduciaries for the data they process for their own professional and statutory obligations (for example, a Doctor’s medical records or a Pharmacy Partner’s dispensing records).
2. What we collect
a. Information you give us
Identity & contact: name, mobile number, email address.
Health context: age, height, weight, computed BMI, and health conditions or information you choose to share so a Doctor can prepare for and provide a consultation.
Booking & transaction: chosen time slot, contribution amount, and payment reference (card/UPI details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by Joovik).
Communications: messages you send us or Dr Jo, and support requests.
b. Information we collect automatically
Device and usage data (IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed) and cookies or similar technologies, as described in our Cookie Policy. Non-essential tracking is used only with your consent.
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
We process your Personal Data on the basis of your consent and, where applicable, for legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act. Specifically, to:
verify your mobile number (one-time code) and create/confirm your booking;
give the Doctor context before your consultation;
facilitate, at your request, the sharing of a Doctor-issued prescription with a Pharmacy Partner for dispensing and delivery;
process your contribution and send confirmations and meeting links;
provide customer support and the Dr Jo assistant;
maintain security, prevent fraud/misuse, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations;
with your separate consent, send you service updates or marketing (which you can withdraw at any time).
4. Health Data is treated with extra care
Your age, BMI, and any conditions you share are Health Data. We process Health Data only to facilitate your consultation and care, based on your explicit consent (see our Health Data Processing Notice). We do not sell your Health Data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
5. Who we share data with
We share the minimum necessary data with:
the Healthcare Provider you consult (health context and booking details);
the Pharmacy Partner, where you ask us to route a valid prescription for dispensing and delivery;
Diagnostic Partners, where you opt for lab tests;
service providers (processors) who act on our instructions - RAZORPAY to process the payment, Supabase - hosting provider, and ChatGPT and Claude AI provider powering Dr Jo;
authorities or others where required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Platform.
We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Sub-processors and cross-border transfers
Some of our processors may store or process data on servers located outside India, or transfer data across borders (for example, Supabase- a data hosting provider and ChatGPT and Claude AI providers). Where this happens, we do so in accordance with the DPDP Act and applicable transfer restrictions, and we require appropriate safeguards. See our Consent Policy for how you consent to such transfers.
7. How long we keep your data
We retain Personal Data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which we delete or anonymise it. Details are in our Data Retention Policy. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see our Data Deletion Policy).
8. Your rights under the DPDP Act
Subject to law, you may:
access a summary of the Personal Data we hold and how we process it;
correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
request erasure of your data;
withdraw consent at any time (this will not affect processing already carried out);
nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity;
raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer and, if unresolved, escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
To exercise any right, contact our Data Protection Officer at [email protected] (see the Grievance Redressal Policy for timelines).
9. Children
The Platform is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly process the Personal Data of children without verifiable parental consent, and we do not undertake targeted advertising or behavioural monitoring directed at children. See our Children’s Privacy Policy.
10. How we protect your data
We apply reasonable technical and organisational security measures, described in our Security Practices Statement. Access is restricted to people who need it, and payment secrets never touch your browser.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy and will change the “Effective date” when we do. Questions or requests: [email protected]. Grievance Officer / DPO details are in the Grievance Redressal Policy.
Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Joovik to book a doctor consultation. By booking, you agree to them. Please read the parts about medical scope and refunds carefully. This is a general summary, not legal advice.
1. What Joovik is
Joovik connects you with a licensed doctor for a paid consultation about GLP-1 weight loss and metabolic health. We arrange the booking and the call. The doctor, not Joovik, provides medical advice.
2. This is not an emergency service
Joovik is not for medical emergencies. If you have an urgent or serious health problem, call your local emergency number or go to a hospital. Do not wait for a scheduled consultation.
3. Medical scope
Booking a consultation does not guarantee any prescription or treatment.
The doctor decides, on the call, what is appropriate for you, including whether GLP-1 medicine is suitable.
The information on our site is educational and is not a diagnosis or a substitute for professional advice.
Your responsibilities
Give accurate information about your health, be reachable on the phone number you verified, and join your call on time. Incorrect details can affect the care the doctor is able to give.
4. Contribution and payment
You choose a contribution starting at ₹199 to secure your consultation. Medicines and lab tests, if the doctor prescribes them, are separate and not included in this amount.
5. Refunds
If we cannot connect you with a doctor, we refund your contribution in full.
Once the consultation has taken place, the contribution is non-refundable.
Refunds are processed to your original payment method. To request one, email [email protected].
6. Rescheduling
You can reschedule your slot to another available time from your confirmation page, subject to availability.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Joovik is not liable for outcomes of medical advice given by the doctor, or for issues caused by inaccurate information you provide. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be waived by law.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Questions? Write to [email protected]. Provided by Joovik.
Terms of Use / Terms & Conditions
1. Agreement to these Terms
By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the other policies referenced here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. What Joovik is - and is not
Joovik is a technology platform that facilitates connections between Users, independent Healthcare Providers, and independent Pharmacy Partners (and, where offered, Diagnostic Partners). Joovik does not provide medical services and does not sell, dispense, or deliver medicines. Medical advice and prescriptions are provided solely by independent Healthcare Providers; medicines are dispensed and delivered solely by independent Pharmacy Partners.
3. The Services we provide
Facilitating booking and scheduling of consultations with Healthcare Providers;
Providing the technology for consultations, communications, and (at your request) routing a valid prescription to a Pharmacy Partner;
Providing general health information and the Dr Jo AI assistant;
Providing customer support for the Platform.
4. Not an emergency service
The Platform is not for medical emergencies and Dr Jo cannot help in an emergency. If you have an urgent or serious health problem, call your local emergency number (in India, 112) or go to the nearest hospital. See the Emergency Disclaimer.
5. Medical scope and independence of providers
Booking a consultation does not guarantee any diagnosis, prescription, medicine, or outcome.
Healthcare Providers exercise independent professional judgement and are solely responsible for the medical advice and prescriptions they provide.
Pharmacy Partners are solely responsible for dispensing, packaging, cold-chain, and delivery of medicines and for compliance with the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Rules.
Information on the Platform (including Dr Jo and blog content) is educational and is not a diagnosis or a substitute for professional advice.
6. Your responsibilities
Provide accurate, complete, and current information about your health and identity;
Be reachable on the number you verified and join consultations on time;
Use the Platform lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy;
Follow the Healthcare Provider’s guidance and the Pharmacy Partner’s instructions; do not misuse medicines.
7. Contribution, payments, medicines and lab costs
You pay a contribution starting at ₹199 to secure your consultation. Payments are processed by Razorpay (our payment gateway partner). The cost of medicines (charged by the Pharmacy Partner) and lab tests (charged by the Diagnostic Partner), if any, is separate and is not included in your contribution. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8. Third-party services and links
The Platform may reference or link to independent Healthcare Providers, Pharmacy Partners, Diagnostic Partners, and other third parties. Joovik does not control and is not responsible for their acts, omissions, services, or content, except as expressly stated.
9. Intellectual property
The Platform, the Joovik brand, and “Dr Jo” are owned by or licensed to Joovik and are protected by law, as set out in our Intellectual Property Policy. Third-party medicine names (e.g., Wegovy®, Ozempic®, Mounjaro®, Zepbound®) are trademarks of their respective owners; Joovik is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
10. Disclaimers
The Platform and Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Joovik disclaims warranties of any kind regarding the Services and regarding the acts or omissions of independent Healthcare Providers, Pharmacy Partners, and Diagnostic Partners. See the Medical, Healthcare, Telemedicine, AI, and Emergency Disclaimers.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Joovik is not liable for: (a) the medical advice, diagnosis, prescriptions, or care provided by Healthcare Providers; (b) the dispensing, quality, packaging, storage, or delivery of medicines by Pharmacy Partners; (c) lab services by Diagnostic Partners; (d) outcomes arising from information you provided that was inaccurate or incomplete; or (e) indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses. Where Joovik is nonetheless found liable, its aggregate liability is limited to the amount of the contribution you paid to Joovik for the relevant consultation. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Joovik and its officers and employees from claims and losses arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or inaccurate information you provided, except to the extent caused by Joovik’s own proven negligence or wilful default.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Platform. You may stop using the Platform at any time.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection rights, the courts at Hyderabad, India, have jurisdiction. Complaints may first be raised with our Grievance Officer under the Grievance Redressal Policy.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will change the “Effective date”. Questions: [email protected].
Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, and how you can manage them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy and Consent Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, and local storage. They help a website function, remember preferences, and understand usage.
2. Categories we use

Required for the Platform and booking to work, including security and load balancing. These do not require consent.

Remember your preferences and improve your experience.
c. Analytics (consent-based)
Help us understand usage so we can improve - for example Google Tag Manager / analytics.

3. A note on our advertising position
We do not sell your Personal Data and we do not use your Health Data for advertising. Marketing/measurement cookies, where enabled with your consent, are used to measure general campaign performance, not to profile you using your health information.

Consent Policy
This Policy explains how consent works on the Platform. Our approach is layered and granular: we ask for specific consent for specific purposes, and you can withdraw any consent at any time.
1. Principles
Consent is free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous, given by a clear affirmative action.
We ask for consent in plain language, for defined purposes, at or before the point of collection.
We keep a record of what you consented to, when, and how.
2. The consents we ask for
Platform & Terms - to create an account/booking and use the Services under the Terms of Use.
Health Data processing - explicit consent to process the health information you share so a Doctor can provide a consultation (see the Health Data Processing Notice).
Sharing with Pharmacy Partners - consent to route a Doctor-issued prescription to a Pharmacy Partner for dispensing and delivery, at your request.
Telemedicine - consent to receive consultations remotely (see the Telemedicine Disclaimer).
Dr Jo (AI) - consent to process your inputs to provide AI-generated information and to store your conversations.
Cross-border transfer - where processors operate outside India, consent to the associated transfer with safeguards.
Marketing (optional) - consent to receive updates or offers; entirely optional and separate.
3. Notice accompanying consent
Before or when we seek consent, we tell you: the Personal Data involved, the purpose, that you may withdraw consent, how to make a complaint, and how to contact the Data Protection Board of India.
4. Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw any consent at any time via email to [email protected]. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent. It does not affect processing already done, and some Services may no longer be available if the underlying consent is withdrawn. Certain records may be retained where the law requires (see Data Retention Policy).
5. Consent for children
Where processing involves a person below 18, we require verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, in line with the DPDP Act and our Children’s Privacy Policy.
6. Consent Managers
The DPDP framework provides for registered Consent Managers through whom you may give, manage, and withdraw consent. Where this becomes available and applicable, we will support it.
Health Data Processing Notice
Because health information is sensitive, this Notice sets out clearly how Joovik handles it. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
1. What Health Data we process
Age, height, weight, computed BMI, and any conditions, symptoms, medications, or health history you choose to share, plus information generated during your interaction with the Platform (for example, the fact and time of a consultation booking).
2. Why we process it
To give the Healthcare Provider context before and during your consultation;
To facilitate, at your request, the routing of a Doctor-issued prescription to a Pharmacy Partner;
To facilitate lab tests with a Diagnostic Partner, where you choose them;
To provide support and maintain accurate records of your interactions with the Platform.
3. Legal basis
We process Health Data on the basis of your explicit consent under the DPDP Act. You may withdraw this consent at any time, subject to records we must retain by law.
4. Who can access it
Access is limited to: the Healthcare Provider you consult; the small Joovik operations team that arranges and supports your care; and, at your request, the Pharmacy Partner or Diagnostic Partner involved in fulfilling your care. Our processors (hosting, communications, AI) access it only as needed to run the Platform and under confidentiality obligations.
5. What we do not do
We do not sell your Health Data.
We do not use your Health Data for advertising or behavioural profiling.
We do not share your Health Data with data brokers.
6. Security and retention
Health Data is protected as described in the Security Practices Statement and retained as described in the Data Retention Policy. Note that a Healthcare Provider may be independently required to retain medical records under professional/medical-record norms; that retention is governed by the provider.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your Health Data, and withdraw consent, as described in the Privacy Policy and Data Deletion Policy.
Medical Disclaimer
The information provided on the Joovik Platform - including the website, blog, assessments, and Dr Jo - is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation, and it does not replace a consultation with a qualified, registered medical practitioner.
Joovik is a technology facilitator and does not provide medical services. Any treatment decision - including whether GLP-1 medication is suitable for you - is made solely by an independent Healthcare Provider after evaluating your individual health. Results described on the Platform are illustrative; individual results vary and are not guaranteed.
Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read or receive on the Platform. Always consult a qualified Healthcare Provider about your specific circumstances. If you may have a medical condition, consult a doctor. In an emergency, follow the Emergency Disclaimer.
Healthcare Disclaimer (Providers, Pharmacies & Third Parties)
1. Independent professionals and partners
Healthcare Providers on the Platform are independent, registered medical practitioners. They - not Joovik - are responsible for the medical advice, diagnosis, and prescriptions they provide, exercising their own professional judgement. Booking a consultation does not guarantee a prescription or any particular treatment.
2. Medicines are handled by Pharmacy Partners
Joovik does not own, stock, dispense, sell, or deliver any medicine. Medicines are dispensed and delivered by independent, licensed Pharmacy Partners against a valid prescription. The Pharmacy Partner is responsible for the sourcing, quality, packaging, storage, cold-chain, labelling, and delivery of medicines, and for compliance with the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Rules made under it.
3. Lab tests are handled by Diagnostic Partners
Where offered, lab tests are performed by independent, licensed Diagnostic Partners who are responsible for sample collection, testing, and reporting.
4. Credentials
Provider names and credentials shown on the Platform are provided in good faith and displayed with the provider’s consent. Users should raise any concern about a provider through the Grievance Redressal Policy.
5. Joovik’s role
Joovik facilitates access, scheduling, communication, and technology. Except as required by law or expressly agreed, Joovik is not responsible for the professional services of independent providers or partners.
Telemedicine Disclaimer & Teleconsultation Terms
These terms apply to online (tele-) consultations facilitated through the Platform, in addition to the Terms of Use. By booking, you consent to receiving a consultation remotely.
1. Who provides the consultation
Consultations are provided by independent Healthcare Providers registered with the NMC or a State Medical Council, in line with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 and applicable NMC norms. Joovik provides the technology and facilitation only.
2. Your consent and information
You consent to telemedicine and confirm the information you provide is accurate and complete.
You will be asked to verify your identity. The consultation and clinical notes may be recorded and stored as part of your record.
3. Clinical discretion and limits
The Healthcare Provider may decide that an in-person examination is necessary, or that telemedicine is not appropriate for your situation.
Some conditions cannot be assessed remotely. Telemedicine has inherent limitations, including technology failures.
Booking does not guarantee any prescription or outcome.
4. Prescriptions
If a prescription is issued, it is at the Healthcare Provider’s sole clinical discretion and is governed by our Prescription Policy. Certain drug categories cannot be prescribed via telemedicine under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020.
5. Emergencies
Telemedicine is not for emergencies. Follow the Emergency Disclaimer.
AI Disclaimer (Dr Jo)
Dr Jo is an artificial-intelligence (AI) assistant, not a doctor. It generates automated responses to help you understand general health topics. Dr Jo does not diagnose conditions, prescribe medicines, or provide personalised medical treatment, and its responses may be incomplete or incorrect.
1. What Dr Jo is and is not
It is: a way to get general, educational health information quickly.
It is not: a substitute for a consultation with a registered Healthcare Provider, and not for emergencies.
2. Human oversight
All clinical decisions - eligibility, prescriptions, and dosing - are made by independent Healthcare Providers, not by Dr Jo. You can reach a human via “Talk to care team” at any time.
3. Safety
Dr Jo is designed to avoid giving definitive diagnoses, to encourage you to consult a Healthcare Provider, and to direct you to emergency services in urgent situations. Please do not rely on Dr Jo for decisions about medication or emergencies.
4. Your data and AI
Conversations with Dr Jo may be stored and processed to provide and improve the Services. Inputs may be processed by ChatGPT and Claude, which may process data outside India; where so, this is a cross-border transfer disclosed in, and consented under, our Privacy and Consent Policies. You can ask us to delete your Dr Jo conversations at [email protected]. We do not use your Health Data from Dr Jo for advertising.
5. No misleading reliance
Nothing Dr Jo says should be taken as a promise of results or as medical advice. Marketing that describes Dr Jo will make its AI nature clear.
Emergency Disclaimer
Joovik is not an emergency service, and Dr Jo cannot help in an emergency.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency - for example chest pain, difficulty breathing, a severe allergic reaction, thoughts of self-harm, or any life-threatening symptom - call your local emergency number (in India, dial 112) or go to the nearest hospital immediately. Do not wait for a scheduled consultation or a response from Dr Jo or the Joovik team.
If you are in distress or thinking about harming yourself, please reach out to a qualified professional or a trusted person right away, and contact local emergency services. This is a sensitive area and help is available.
Prescription Policy
1. Prescriptions are a clinical decision
Any medicine - including GLP-1 medication such as semaglutide (Wegovy) or tirzepatide (Mounjaro) - is prescribed solely at the discretion of an independent, registered Healthcare Provider after evaluating your health. Booking a consultation does not guarantee that any medicine will be prescribed.
2. Joovik does not sell or dispense medicines
Joovik does not own, stock, dispense, sell, or deliver medicines. Where a valid prescription is issued and you choose to proceed, Joovik facilitates the routing of that prescription to an independent, licensed Pharmacy Partner, which dispenses and delivers the medicine and bills you separately.
3. Prescription-only medicines
GLP-1 medicines are prescription-only (Schedule H/H1) medicines under the Drugs & Cosmetics Rules, 1945. They are dispensed only against a valid prescription and are not available over the counter. Certain categories of medicine cannot be prescribed via telemedicine under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 (for example, narcotics and specified restricted drugs).
4. How you receive your prescription
The Healthcare Provider issues a signed prescription or e-prescription, which is made available to you by email / in-app. You are free to have it dispensed by any licensed pharmacy of your choice; using a Pharmacy Partner is optional.
5. Safety and responsibility
Follow the dosing and instructions given by your Healthcare Provider and Pharmacy Partner.
The Pharmacy Partner is responsible for the quality, storage, cold-chain, and delivery of the medicine.
Report side effects to your Healthcare Provider; in an emergency, follow the Emergency Disclaimer.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Consultation contribution
If we cannot connect you with a Healthcare Provider, we refund your contribution in full.
Once the consultation has taken place, the contribution is non-refundable.
You may reschedule your slot to another available time, subject to availability.
2. Medicines (charged by Pharmacy Partners)
Medicine charges are set and collected by the independent Pharmacy Partner, not by Joovik. Because medicines are prescription products, they generally cannot be returned once dispensed, except where a Pharmacy Partner’s policy or the law provides otherwise (for example, a wrong or damaged item). Refunds or replacements for medicines are handled under the Pharmacy Partner’s policy; Joovik will reasonably assist you in raising the request.
3. Lab tests (charged by Diagnostic Partners)
Where lab tests are booked, cancellation and refund terms are governed by the Diagnostic Partner’s policy. Joovik will assist you in coordinating.
4. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds of the Joovik contribution are made to your original payment method within 8-10 business days. To request one, email [email protected] with your booking reference.
5. Your consumer rights
Nothing in this Policy limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
Subscription Terms (if applicable)
1. Plans
Joovik may offer programmes or plans (for example, coaching and support plans from ₹1,999). What each plan includes is described at checkout. Plans cover Joovik’s facilitation, coaching, and support Services only; medicines and lab tests are charged separately by the relevant partner.
2. Billing and renewal
Billing cycle: monthly/quarterly, billed in advance via our payment processing partner.
Auto-renewal: plans auto-renew and you are also reminded before renewal.
Price changes: we will give you advance notice of any change; changes apply from your next cycle.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time via [email protected]. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
4. Changes to a plan
We may add, change, or discontinue plan features and will tell you in advance of material changes.
Acceptable Use Policy
To keep the Platform safe and trustworthy, you agree not to:
use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
provide false identity or health information, or impersonate another person;

infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or post unlawful, defamatory, or abusive content;
use the Platform to harass Healthcare Providers, Pharmacy Partners, or staff.

Children’s Privacy Policy
1. The Platform is for adults
The Platform and its Services (including GLP-1 weight-loss facilitation) are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We ask Users to confirm they are 18+ before using the Services.
2. No processing of children’s data without parental consent
We do not knowingly process the Personal Data of a person under 18 without the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, as required by the DPDP Act.
3. No harmful processing
We do not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children, and we will not process children’s data in a way likely to cause detrimental effects on their wellbeing.
4. If we learn we hold a child’s data
If we learn we have collected a child’s Personal Data without the required consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact [email protected].
Data Retention Policy
1. Principle
We keep Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law, after which we delete or anonymise it.
2. Indicative retention periods
The following are indicative and must be confirmed with counsel:
Booking & consultation records held by Joovik: retained for the duration of the care relationship plus up to 7 years for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.
Payment references: as required by tax/accounting law, typically up to 7 years.
Account & contact data: until account deletion or 7 years of inactivity.
Dr Jo conversations: retained for 12 months unless you request deletion sooner.
Marketing consent records: until consent is withdrawn plus a short record period.
Cookie/analytics data: per the durations listed in the Cookie Policy.
3. Medical records held by providers
Independent Healthcare Providers may be required to retain medical records for their own statutory/professional periods. That retention is governed by the provider, not Joovik.
4. Deletion and anonymisation
When a retention period ends, or a valid deletion request is fulfilled, we delete or irreversibly anonymise the data. See the Data Deletion Policy.
Data Deletion Policy
1. Your right to deletion
You can ask us to delete the Personal Data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent to further processing, at any time.
2. How to request deletion
Email [email protected] from your registered address. We may verify your identity before acting.
3. What happens next
We acknowledge your request within 72 hours and complete it within 8-10 business days.
We delete or irreversibly anonymise the relevant data across our systems and instruct our processors to do the same.
Where you asked us to route data to a Pharmacy or Diagnostic Partner or a Healthcare Provider, those independent parties hold their own copies for their own legal obligations; we will pass on your request but their retention is governed by them.
4. What we may retain
We may retain limited data where the law requires (for example, tax, accounting, or dispute records), or to establish/defend legal claims. We retain only the minimum necessary and delete it when no longer required.
5. Effect of deletion
After deletion, some Services may no longer be available to you, and we may be unable to retrieve your history.
Security Practices Statement
We take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data. This is a summary, not a complete description of our controls.
Our measures include
Access controls: data is restricted to people and services that need it, on a role-based basis.
Encryption: data is protected in transit and, where appropriate, at rest.
Secret handling: payment and system secrets are kept server-side and never exposed to your browser.
